Journalism HS’s case on police investigation into human trafficking nominated for European Journalism Award

Last A story published in Helsingin Sanomat in the spring of 2006 on the problems of the police investigation into human trafficking is nominated for the European Press Prize.

The annual European Journalism Prize is awarded in four series. Supplier Paavo Teittinen thingtitled Investigation closed, is a candidate in the series of investigative journalism. The other three awards will be given for the best written story, for launching a public debate, and for innovation.

European There are a total of 20 nominees for the Press Prize and more than 700 nominees were selected. There were candidates from 43 European countries.

The value of the prize in each series is 10,000 euros.

European Press Prizen double cloth there are 11 European media company foundations and organizations. Sanoma Media Finland, which publishes Helsingin Sanomat, is not among them.
