López Miras leaves a vacant deputy secretary waiting for Patricia Fernández to occupy it, who in any case has been proposed as a member of the Executive Committee
José Miguel Luengo will remain as general secretary of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia in a new management committee in which Rebeca Pérez, as LA VERDAD anticipated, will be general coordinator and Joaquín Segado reinforces his political weight as deputy secretary of Organization, Communication and Electoral.
This was announced by President Fernando López Miras during the regional congress that is being held this Friday. Conchita Ruiz (Social Policy and Welfare State), Fulgencio Perona (Decentralization), Luis Alberto Marín (Economic Development) and Víctor Manuel López Abenza (Municipal Policy) will also be deputy secretaries.
A vice-secretary was left vacant, waiting for Patricia Fernández to reconsider and decide to fill it. At the moment, the mayor of Archena, the great absentee from this Friday’s congress, has been proposed as a member of the Executive Committee, by direct election of the president.
For her part, Miriam Guardiola continues as spokesperson. Marcos Ortuño will be president of the Electoral Committee, Noelia Arroyo will be in charge of the Mayors Committee. Francisco Abril ceases to be responsible for Organization and becomes chairman of the Rights and Guarantees Committee. Likewise, Víctor Martínez returns to the Executive, at the head of a secretariat of the Mar Menor.
In addition to the deputy secretary, there are other vacant positions in the party’s regional leadership, waiting for critics to join the leadership. For his part, the re-election of López Miras as president of the regional PP took place with 97% of the votes of the delegates.
