The first call for help came at 7:04 p.m. on Wednesday. They warned of a savage attack in which a man allegedly stabbed another several times in a traffic argument. The murderer had fled on foot and the victim did the same in his white BMW, accompanied by his wife. When the Municipal and National Police officers arrived, they saw that the stabbed person had had to stop at the intersection of Peseta Avenue and Quart de Poblet Street; He was sitting on the curb, bleeding. He had made a tourniquet with a T-shirt and what the municipal police officer did was place an approved one on his left arm, where he had two wounds: in the upper area of the biceps and in the forearm, probably for defense.

The agents searched for the criminal in the parking lot of the building itself and on the stairs of the block. Some sources suggested that he could be carrying a firearm.
