The New York police report says that at 11:14 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, he received a call to 911, the emergency number. Thus he went to the apartment at West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue in the confines of the 10 Precinct.
The incident involved a 33-year-old man involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. Agents reported that she was the assaulted and sustained head and neck injuries.

Priya Chaudhry, the actor’s lawyer, commented on this case ‘Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is likely to be the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows’.
To the above, he added ‘we met quickly and presented evidence to the district attorney with the expectation that all charges would be dropped imminently’.
Chaudhry highlighted ‘all the evidence shows that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her at all’.
Priya Chaudhry went on to say ‘Unfortunately, this incident took place because this woman was going through an emotional crisis, so she was taken to a hospital yesterday’.
He even argued that the police need to make an arrest in these situations and that is the reason the actor was imprisoned.
