JK Rowling was the new victim of Vovan and Lexus, a pair of Russian comedians, who are known for playing practical jokes on celebrities.
The author of “Harry Potter” thought he was having a conversation via Zoom with the president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelenskyso he agreed to some very strange requests that were obviously part of a hoax.
A representative of the writer revealed, through The Hollywood Reporter, that the jokers obtained the interview in order to talk about Rowling’s charitable work protecting vulnerable children in Ukraine and that the video broadcast on networks has been modified.

In the 12-minute clip we can see that, at one point, the pranksters point out to him that Harry Potter’s lightning bolt scar reminds them of the ‘Z’ that the Russian troops put on their tanks during the invasion, so they asked him to change his form into a Ukrainian trident. Given this, Rowling just said she would “look into it”.
Later, in the call, the writer indicated that she is very interested in Ukraine having enough weapons to defend itself and, in addition, seemed to approve of the idea that Ukrainians write the killing curse “Avada kedabra” on their missiles.
Giving a radical change to the subject, Vovan and Lexus commented on the controversy of his expressions against the trans community by asking him if Professor Dumbledore was really homosexual and who he slept with. “Hopefully not with a transgender”they affirmed.
