In terms of passion for the brand he works for, few can beat theCEO of Alfa Romeothe French Jean-Philippe Learned. The top executive of the Italian car manufacturer took advantage of the Italian Grand Prix in Monza to visit the Sauber team, a reality that Alfa Romeo will continue to sponsor until 2023 inclusive. Learned wore, as on other occasions, the official team shirt; and also participated at a pit stop testreplacing the right rear tire of the Formula 1 car.

The Alfa Romeo designer was also present in Monza Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, among other things: the presence of the two has brought good to the team, as it returned to the points (10th with Guanyu Zhou, while Valtteri Bottas had less luck) after six dry races. The brand is also doing better on the market, and in Italy it is one of the few in positive territory after a difficult summer.
Despite the farewell to Hinwil already written in black and white, Alfa Romeo he plans to get the most out of this partnership by obtaining a 2022 positioning preferably in the sixth place area.
Learned, born in 1966, is of clear Italian origins. The executive has been with the PSA group for virtually his entire career, after graduating from L’École de Management in Grenoble. He was hired by the French car company in 1989, later remaining in this galaxy until the merger with FCA. The appointment of him in Alfa Romeo by the board of directors of Stellantisdates back to January 2021.
