There is no peace for the Grove stable
The first free practice session of the Japanese Grand Prix was interrupted with a Red flag due to Logan Sargeant going off the track.
The Williams driver made a mistake at the end of the first sector placing the right rear wheel on the grass thus losing control of the car which violently impacted the barriers.
Sargeant is using the chassis repaired after Alexander Albon's accident in FP1 in Melbourne, an off-track exit that knocked out the chassis now used by the American driver in Suzuka.
According to what was reported by the German newspaper Auto Motor und Sport Williams It has no new spare front and rear wings and therefore Sargeant will have to continue the weekend with old components.
