On March 7, the Russian government signed a decree with a list of states whose unfriendly actions are directed against the country, its companies and citizens. The approved list is headed by the USA, Canada and the EU countries, as well as the UK with its territories: Jersey, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar. Also named Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland, Albania, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, North Macedonia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Micronesia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan.
The countries indicated in the list have introduced or joined the sanctions against Russia in connection with the conduct of a special operation of the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine. It was approved in pursuance of the decree of the President of Russia dated March 5, 2022 “On the temporary procedure for fulfilling obligations to certain foreign creditors.”
