Motegi completes the hat-trick
After the thrills of Mandalika in Indonesia, the MotoGP moves further north for the Japanese Grand Prix scheduled on the Motegi circuit. Jorge Martin arrives in the Land of the Rising Sun with a 21-point margin over Francesco Bagnaia, while Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez, after the knockouts in Lombok, are now cut off from the championship chase.
One year ago Jorge Martin won both the Sprint and the GPbut the latter was interrupted after 12 laps with a red flag due to the torrential rain that had hit the Twin Ring.
The event will be broadcast live in full on Sky Sports MotoGPup TV8 Sunday’s races will be deferred, while all Saturday sessions from MotoGP Qualifying onwards up to the Sprint of the premier class they will also be broadcast live and unencrypted.
