new Delhi: In the case of giving government land to a trust keeping all the rules and laws, the CBI under various criminal sections against several government officials including the then District Magistrate of Kathua, the then Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Chairman of RB Educational Trust of Jammu and Kathua. Has filed a lawsuit. In this case, the CBI has raided about a dozen places in Jammu and Kathua and captured many important documents.
According to the CBI, documents of properties have also been recovered during this raid. According to CBI spokesperson RK Gaur, the CBI had registered a preliminary inquiry in the matter during June 2020. In this case, it was alleged that with the connivance of the government officials of Kathua district, the RB Educational Trust has been occupied by keeping all the rules and laws on the government land. It was also alleged that for this, fake documents were also made in connivance with government officials and a false affidavit was also given in the court, so that the truth of the case could be covered.
During the investigation, it was also found that in this case some part of government land was shown as garden, whereas in reality there was no garden there. After initial investigation, the CBI registered a regular case in this case and RB Educational Trust Chair Person who is the wife of a former MP, besides the then District Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, Ajay Singh Jamwal, the then Tehsildar Avtar Singh, the then Naib Tehsildar Deshraj, the then Gridawar Rampal and Patwari Sudesh Kumar filed a case and raided various places.
According to the CBI, in addition to the people whose names are registered in the FIR, the names of unknown people have also been included, because if the names of those people also come up during the investigation, they will be included as accused in the charge sheet.
