The Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) confirmed, this Thursday (15), the conclusion of the investigation linked to the Operation Nexum, launched in August last year, to investigate a possible scheme of fraud, embezzlement, document forgery, tax evasion and money laundering. The case involves Jair Renan Bolsonaro, son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, and his shooting instructor, Maciel Alves.
According to the PCDF, at the end of the investigation, the details of which are confidential, both Jair Renan and Maciel Alves were formally accused of the crimes of ideological falsehood, use of false documents and money laundering. The final investigation report was sent to the Judiciary on February 8, the corporation said. Now, it is up to the Public Ministry of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT) to analyze the case and decide whether to file a complaint against both so that criminal proceedings can be initiated in court.

Last year, a police search and seizure operation was carried out against the accused.
