Next month, JAC Motors launches two electric cars, the e-JS1 and the SUV e-JS4, with prices of R$150,000 and R$249,000, respectively.
While the e-JS1 is designed for the driver who performs day-to-day tasks, the JS4 combines comfort and power, which, according to JAC, would be ideal to become the main family car.

Rivaling with models like the VW UP! and the ID.3, the e-JS1 is a compact car with a focus on urban use and 300 km of autonomy with a charged battery. There are 62 hp of power and 15.3 kgfm of torque pushing the vehicle.
JAC’s bet on the electric compact market comes with connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear camera, parking sensor and traction controls. It still doesn’t feature on the JAC website, unlike the e-JS4, but it should be the cheapest electric model in the segment.
The e-JS SUV model should rival the Cherry Tiggo 5X, as well as the Renalut Zoe and Nissan Leaf, which access a price range above R$ 200 thousand. It has a 360° camera, stability and traction control, ramp start assistant, LED headlights, ramp start assistant and tire pressure monitoring.
The e-JS4 media center offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto pairing, enabling customers to replicate applications such as Google Maps, WhatsApp and Spotify directly on the system.
The SUV takes 7.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h and is limited to 150 km/h. The low speed limit serves as a way to avoid energy costs, as the vehicle has a range of 420 km.
