Allied forces are systematically pushing the enemy back in the Avdeevka direction. Izvestia correspondent Alexander Safiullin showed how they work on the positions of the nationalists.
According to the stories of the fighters, Ukrainian fighters hit the area with 152 shells, raise the copter and adjust the fire. But in response they receive fire from the allied forces, the journalist said.
“At the fortifications into which the Armed Forces of Ukraine have turned private houses – they dug trenches around them – they are working with a 120-mm cannon. There is no chance to survive or hide,” says Alexander.
After the fire, the military launched an assault, as a result of which the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VFU) lost their fortifications. In addition, the military destroyed the cameras with which the enemy monitored the perimeter.
“We will not give up a meter, at the moment we have not retreated a meter, we have small local successes. We hold the enemy, deliver pinpoint strikes, and carry out reconnaissance. The enemy was not allowed to pass, although he tried to make counterattacks a couple of times, ”said the commander of the second company of the First Corps of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) with the call sign Vulf.
At the end of September, the military commander of the Izvestia TV channel, Semyon Eremin, showed how the Russian military was working on the positions of the VFU from Tyulpan mortars around the fortified area in the village of Vodiane in the Avdeevsky direction. He noted that now the fortified area is being systematically broken up so that the Russian army could continue to storm.
On October 5, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced that the situation in several areas was stabilizing. In particular, he pointed out that the situation on the front line in the Krasnolimansky direction has improved, the defense line is being strengthened by all available means. In addition, Russian fighters have local successes in the Ugledar direction.
Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special operation to protect the Donbass, whose residents refused to recognize the results of the 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine. The decision to hold it was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by Ukrainian troops.
