The Italian authorities confirmed this Friday the resumption of search for a helicopter that disappeared with seven crew membersfour of them citizens of Turkey, according to media from the two countries.

The aircraft, which was identified as a private plane, disappeared from radar after flying over the city of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region, firefighters reported to the media.
The rescue teams stated that all efforts and technological equipment have been used to identify areas without signal coverage, also focusing the search on rural or uninhabited populations.
According to the Turkish channel NTV, the aircraft was traveling from Lucca to Treviso, in what is estimated to be a work trip for the Eczacibasi industrial company, to which the four Turkish citizens belonged.
According to a statement from the Turkish company, the workers would attend a fair and immediately, at the time of the helicopter’s takeoff, they would go to a tissue paper factory.
The same text issued by the company calls for an intensification of the search efforts and addressed the Turkish Foreign Ministry and the Turkish embassy in Italy and stated that they expect positive results from the rescue efforts.
