“I suffered from his absence, I wrote him letters”, Cristiana Ciacci tells of her relationship with her father Little Tony and of anorexia
Cristiana Ciacci, Little Tony’s daughter, was a guest on the latest episode of the TV show Today is another day. The woman told, live on TV, of the relationship she had with her dad and the years in which he suffered from anorexia.
He did not have a very open relationship with the singer, so much so that every year, at Christmas and birthday, he he wrote letters. Letters through which Cristiana Ciacci told him everything she had inside, the bad things and the beautiful things and on which the two never returned. The woman opened with her dad, on four or five sheets, while crying. Little Tony read his daughter’s words with tears in his eyes, locked in his room. Then he went down to her and thehugged, without saying any word.
They had a closed relationship, which went on thanks to the pen and that today Cristiana remembers in front of the entire television world. He also used a letter to tell his father that he was expecting the second child. She explained, during the show, that Little Tony hadn’t taken her first pregnancy well. She had started the relationship with her partner for only 5 months and for the singer it had been too reckless. So when she got pregnant for the second time, afraid of her dad’s reaction, she decided to tell him with a letter.
The only way I had to tell him all my inner world, what made me feel bad and also what made me feel good, was to write him these letters which were five or six sheets full of many emotions and I cried while I wrote them and he cried as he read to her after having locked himself in his room and went down with shining eyes, we hugged each other even if we didn’t talk about it anymore.
