BRASILIA (Reuters) – The Secretary for Economic Policy, Adolfo Sachsida, said on Wednesday that it is “a mistaken view” to say that there will be an increase in spending next year.
“We are going to spend next year exactly what we spend this year, the difference will be in the composition of spending,” said Sachsida during a press conference to publicize the new economic parameters of the Economic Policy Secretariat’s bulletin.
The secretary highlighted that, if the homework is done, with the approval of economic reforms, the INPC will have a decreasing trajectory.
Sachsida also said that the consolidation of the fiscal side of the government will ensure a drop in inflation.
