E1.ru: DPR Chairman Artem Zhoga May Become Putin’s Plenipotentiary Representative in the Urals
Chairman of the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Artem Zhoga may become the plenipotentiary representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Urals. On the possible relocation of the official it became known portal E1.ru.
As a source in the Urals representative office noted in a conversation with the publication, the head of state will appoint a new plenipotentiary representative in the near future. In June, the current presidential plenipotentiary representative in the Urals Federal District, Vladimir Yakushev, received an additional job – he was appointed acting secretary of the General Council of United Russia.
Among the likely candidates, Zhogu is considered the favorite. It was he who asked Vladimir Putin at a meeting in the Kremlin whether he would run for another presidential term – and received a positive answer.
Political scientists have included the head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs, Igor Barinov, as well as Dmitry Kobylkin, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, among other possible candidates.
Zhoga published it in Telegram-channel video from the office in the People’s Council of the DPR. In the video, he indicated what he did in this position.
Political scientist Alexey Shvaigert admitted that Zhoga will soon advance up the career ladder. “I have quite reliable information that Zhoga is leaving, and his video seems to be further evidence of this. The only question is where?” the expert shared.
Earlier, the chairman of the DPR parliament spoke about the shortage of Ukrainian fighters due to losses.
