Chechen teacher Zhabrailov, who insulted Christians, could keep his place at school
Teacher Mansur Zhabrailov, who insulted Christians, may still work at the school despite statements by Chechnya’s Minister for National Policy, Information and Media Akhmed Dudayev. On preserving his job in the education system it became known Readovka publication.
As Dudayev previously reported, calling Christians cattle and Jesus a humadoid Chechen was suspended from working in the education system. At the same time, according to Readovka, the publication’s journalists managed to contact the students of the school where the teacher worked, and the children reported that the man still works at the educational institution, and his views on Christianity have not changed.
The authors of the portal suggested that Dudayev meant that Zhabrailov was fired only from the position of a chemistry teacher, but the position of head teacher was retained by the teacher. It is also noted that he continues to serve as a class teacher.
Earlier, political scientist Yaroslav Belousov said that it was enough for Mansur Zhabrailov to apologize on camera for his actions, and the lack of serious consequences for him for the crime is a flagrant situation. The political scientist said that this situation demonstrates that residents of Chechnya have a “special status” compared to residents of other regions.
