“So far, dozens of Air Force fighter jets have attacked, under the direction of the Northern Command and the intelligence wing, around 800 Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region inside Lebanon, in several waves of strikes throughout the day,” an Israeli military statement detailed.

China urges its citizens to leave Israel amid “complex and unpredictable” situation
China has urged its citizens living in Israel to leave the country “as soon as possible” amid tensions with the Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah, which have created “a serious, complex and unpredictable security situation”.
“The situation on the border between Israel and Lebanon is extremely tense, with frequent military clashes. The security situation in Israel remains serious, complex and unpredictable,” the Chinese embassy in Israel said in a statement released on Sunday (22).
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian confirmed the “consular upgrade” at a press conference on Monday, saying it was China’s “unavoidable” responsibility to “safeguard the safety of its citizens” abroad.
Israel has launched several massive bombing campaigns against Lebanese territory over the past two days, amid an unprecedented escalation since the start of crossfire with Hezbollah on October 8, a day after the outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip.
Both Israel and Hezbollah confirmed that the fighting had entered a new phase after thousands of communications devices belonging to the terror group were blown up simultaneously last week in two separate waves, and after a bombing outside Beirut killed several senior members of the group.
These three attacks, attributed to Israel, left a total of almost 80 dead and around 3,000 injured, according to official Lebanese figures.
Furthermore, in new bombings launched by Israel throughout the day, another 274 people died and more than a thousand were injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health in a statement.
