Yesterday, IIsrael ordered the evacuation of the towns of Houla, Mays al Jabal, Blida, Muhaibib, Shaqra, Baraisht, Majdal Salim, Qabrikha, Kounin, Beit Yahoun, Jamijma, Al Tayri, Bani Hayyan, Al Tamriyeh, Tulin, Deir Siryan, Al Qusayr, Baflia, Jabal al Adas, Bayad, Sarbin , Burj Rahhal, Ain Baal, Al Rashidiya and Haniya.
In total, Israeli forces have imposed the evacuation of more than a hundred Lebanese towns, including the city of Nabatieh, one of the most important in the area, and among the most affected by the Israeli bombings of recent weeks.

The area is much further north than the Litani River (30 kilometers), which marks the demilitarized zone designated by the UN after the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah, where there should be no armed presence other than the Lebanese authorities and the United Nations mission in the country (UNIFIL).
Israel has been exchanging fire with the Shiite group Hezbollah for almost a year across the Lebanese border, and last Monday, after a week of intense bombings against the south and east of the country, he announced the sending of troops to southern Lebanon to dismantle the militia’s infrastructure.
Since then, at least ten Israeli soldiers have died in the fighting, according to figures published by the Israeli Army.
Meanwhile, the intense Israeli bombing, concentrated mainly in the south and east of Lebanon but also in the capital, Beirut, have already caused more than 2,000 deaths and a million displaced, according to Lebanese authorities.
