Israel bombs near Nasser hospital in Khan Younis
Israel bombed the town of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, near Nasser Hospital, on Sunday night. This was reported by the Palestinian news agency Wafa and is also evident images verified by Al Jazeera by Palestinian journalist Saleh Ja'farawi.
The images show, among other things, injured people arriving at the hospital, patients covered in gray dust and an injured child being treated for an abdominal wound. A house near the Nasser hospital also caught fire.
It is feared that the Nasser hospital could face the same fate as al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, which Israeli troops invaded in November after a days-long encirclement.
According to Wafa, Israeli fighters also bombed two different neighborhoods of Gaza City during the night from Sunday to Monday.
