Likewise, of the worrying unemployment numbers in Mexico, the informality of these professions among Mexican workers is also in the red. In this sense, the Nutrition career turns out to be the most affected, with an informality rate of 39.8%.
It is worth mentioning, for its part, that according to information from the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO), due to the high rates of unemployment and informality, professionals from these degrees have had to adapt to other areas, which means having fewer jobs. stable and with fewer benefits.
In this sense, the sectors that most employ these professionals are professional, financial and corporate services, government and international organizations, commerce, and the extractive and electricity industries.
Despite this panorama, the IMCO maintains that studying a bachelor's degree continues to be profitable in Mexico, highlighting that, on average, Graduates have a salary 85% higher than those who only have secondary-higher education.
Informality in Mexico
