During the last days the production of the anime of Shingeki no Kyojin has been immersed in controversy, especially over the use of CGI when giving life to the titans, as well as the change of design for characters such as Mikasa Ackerman.
If you haven’t found out, just know that fans have been leaving negative comments on social media for a couple of weeks. Studio MAPPA, as well as the personal account of one of the anime’s directors.
This has caused said director to close his account at Twitter, that an alleged member of the study released a statement asking these users to stop the harassment, and that now an indefinite hiatus is rumored for the last season of Shingeki no Kyojin, due to the same complaints.
The origin of the rumor about the hiatus for Attack on Titan
In Twitter and Facebook a screenshot began to circulate (via AnmoSugoi) where it was explained that Studio MAPPA would take a break from Shingeki no Kyojin due to the criticism and to ‘rest from the hate’ of these alleged fans:
The reality is that this is COMPLETELY FALSE, since in the official account of MAPPA in Twitter there is no statement of this nature, the schedule for the next episode is still set for Sunday, January 24.
We recommend you: Shingeki no Kyojin: Studio Mappa staff finally responds to haters.
And the link to which this statement is supposed to be linked is actually one of the arts that they usually share with fans during the premiere days of a new episode, in this case it was Mikasa’s new design.
This rumor began to gain more force because few people who shared it decided to verify the information in official sources.
Do not worry, Attack on Titan Final Season continues its course, although we hope that these ‘fans’ will not again demonstrate so violently next Sunday.
