Yesterday, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 24 foreigners hiding in a tank in Kirkuk.
The ministry said in a statement: “The detachments of the Controls Division of the Kirkuk Police Command arrested 24 foreigners who were hiding inside a tank trying to cross from the Martyrs’ control.” And she indicated that “they were referred with the driver of the wheel to the competent center to take legal measures against them duly.”
In another context, the head of the Iraqi government, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, made changes in some security sites in order to raise the efficiency of the performance of the security institutions. Major General Yahya Rasool, the official spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, said in a statement yesterday, “In accordance with the government program and its priorities related to administrative reform of security institutions, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, issued orders for changes in some security sites with the aim of injecting new blood and giving the opportunity to leaders.” Others in managing the security file in order to raise the efficiency of the performance of security institutions ».
