Yesterday, an Iranian court demanded that Washington pay more than 4 billion dollars to compensate the families of nuclear scientists who were killed in recent years in attacks that Tehran attributed to Israeli or American intelligence services, state media reported.
The court ruling, published by the official IRNA news agency, targets the US government, former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, among other senior US officials.
In addition, Iranian state television announced yesterday that Iran had dismissed Hossein Taeb, the head of the intelligence service of the Revolutionary Guards. The Iranian media did not give a reason, but the official TV said: Taeb was appointed as an advisor to the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Hussein Salami, and he will be replaced by Muhammad Kazemi, who previously headed the protection unit of the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence.
