Skybound is organizing the financing of a new game dedicated to the series Invinciblealso resorting to crowdfundingas is already publicly visible, constituting a particular case of medium-high production financed through the Republic platform.
The project page is visible at this address on the portal, and from this we can see that already almost $500,000 were offered by the public with another 14 days left to complete the crowd funding campaign, which requires a minimum investment of $100.
It's something a little different from the normal Kickstarter, given that in this case it's a real investment in the project, with a direct relationship with Skybound, so it's not just a purchase through the typical backing of the game.
A triple-A game
As for the title in question, not much is known about it yet: on the official page it is reported that the new Invincible will be developed by a studio specialized in triple A games, made up of veterans from EA, Activision Blizzard and Amazon Gameswith over 30 developers at work.
Despite the peculiar type of financing, the game should be considered a triple A in terms of production level and the authors should be the same as the previous Atom Eve, dedicated to the character of the same name from the series.
Also the creator of the series, Robert Kirkmanis directly involved in this video game, which should ensure remarkable fidelity to the source material.
