strength or weakness? Introverts have a hard time pushing themselves out of the shadows into the light.

Presenting your own work, talking, attracting attention – many professions require all of this. How do introverts deal with this?
Msometimes Lina Günter fears that she is selling herself short. Günter is studying communication design in his fourth semester, as one of 25 students. You know each other, talk, compare. This sometimes makes her doubt: “Does my work not stand out enough?” As she says herself, Günter prefers to choose designs that are “simple and a bit quieter”. She does this very consciously because she sees them as an expression of her personality. A white background, black lettering, a touch of red here and there – this is how the student designed her portfolio, which she uses to apply for internships. Unlike her fellow students, she says. Most would go for flashy colors, neon yellow or pink.
Lina Günter is actually called differently. She does not want to appear in this text under real names, “for fear of being judged”. Lina wants to be open about how she experiences studying as an introvert. Sometimes she struggles with being an introvert. But she recognizes the strengths associated with this personality trait and tries to use them in her studies.
