A joint operation of customs surveillance of the Tax Agency and National Police – in the collaboration of the American Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which warned of the possible entry of the drug in Spain – has intervened 150 kilos of cocaine that was in the submerged structure of the helmet of a merchant container in Vigo.
According to a statement from the Tax Agency, the drug was going to be introduced in Spain through the port of the Olivic city. For their seizure they had to intervene agents of the Customs Surveillance Base in Vigo, together with divers of the Special Operations Group, to the Be attached to the ship’s helmet below the flotation line.

The investigation began in early April when, through the DEA, information was received that an international criminal organization intended to introduce into the country a significant amount of cocaine through the Olivic port.
