The outcomes of the forum, which was organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, included the launch of 4 exclusive specialised books and a research study, which embody the forum’s message of providing advanced scientific visions that contribute to the development of the government communication sector and its future in the region and the world..
The publications included the book “The Government Storytelling”, the book “Research Trends in the Field of Government and International Communication”, the book “The Quality of Arabic Content in Light of the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies: Professional Automated Content Creation”, in addition to the book “The Role of Government Communication in Spreading the Culture of Tolerance and Rejecting Hatred”.“
The forum also reviewed the results of a research study, conducted in partnership with TRENDS Research and Advisory, entitled: “Asian Resilience: Learning from Singapore’s Experience to Enhance Government Resilience in an Era of Crises,” which provided an analysis of the Asian pattern of developing levels of economic adaptation, enhancing resilience indicators in government performance in responding to sudden economic fluctuations, and focused on learning from Singapore’s experience in an era of crises..
His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, stressed that the International Government Communication Forum has become a leading platform for formulating government communication policies locally and globally, noting that the 13th session represented a qualitative milestone in the journey of integrating communication with developmental government practices and enhancing the competitiveness of economic sectors..
Alai said that the dialogues hosted by the forum’s platforms proved that communication is not an abstract rhetorical language, but rather the language of growth, development, sustainability, innovation, renewal, and development, and partnership between societies and governments, in order to build a prosperous and sustainable future that overcomes challenges and opens new paths to prosperity..
The forum, which was held at Expo Centre Sharjah, under the theme “Innovative Communication… Resilient Governments”, hosted more than 250 speakers from around the world, as well as a group of decision-makers and thought leaders from the public and private sectors, in addition to specialists and communication and media experts from all over the world, to explore the opportunities and visions of the sector, and come up with important recommendations that enhance the role of government communication in facing current global challenges..
