The Congress is not taking the name of the pause. Former Union Minister Kapil Sibal has once again questioned the working style of the party leadership. With this, he has responded to the party leaders attacking him and said that he is raising the voice of the workers. Kapil Sibal said that Rahul Gandhi had said a year and a half ago that he no longer wants to be the president of Congress. He had also said that he did not want anyone from the Gandhi family to become the president. It has been a year and a half, can a national party function without a president.
On the attacks on him, he said that the letter written in August 2020 was our third letter. Earlier two more letters were written, but no one spoke to us. In an interview, he advocated election for the post of president and said that elections in the organization are very important. Kapil Sibal said that he is not raising the finger on anyone’s ability, he is talking about the constitution of the party. According to the constitution elections should be held. If we do not conduct elections in our organizations ourselves, then how will we get the result we want. We said these things in our letter.
Sometime back, Kapil Sibal targeted the Congress. Sibal accused the Congress of not doing any introspection in the last six years. Questioning the leadership of the party, the senior Congress leader said that the party’s stand on the performance in the Bihar elections has not been revealed. The party seems to believe that everything is fine. In an interview to the Indian Express, Kapil Sibal had said on the recent elections, not only in Bihar, but wherever elections and by-elections have been held in the country, people are not considering Congress as an effective option.
