The Uruguayan protagonist of a violent raptus during last weekend’s championship match against Roma. The crime in the 96th minute after a bickering with the Giallorossi Morichelli, in turn punished with 4 rounds
It is not a great moment for Martin Satriano, who has just returned from an eventful weekend after his “demotion” in the Primavera team. The Uruguayan Inter striker became the protagonist of a violent episode in the final stages of the championship match played on Sunday against Roma. The result was immediate red, which the referee also waved to the Giallorossi Morichelli, guilty of having caused the Nerazzurri’s disordered reaction. The match ended with Roma’s 1-0 success, the result of a goal from Riccardi’s penalty in the 51st minute. The sports judge gave the Nerazzurri three days of disqualification, one more for the Giallorossi Morichelli (already warned).
Satriano was just making his second appearance of the season in the U19 led by Chivu, where he returned at the end of October after starting the season in the first team. For the former Nacional an assist on his first outing against Cagliari, then Sunday’s header against the Giallorossi due to a bickering in the final minutes of play, when Inter were desperately looking for a draw. Just at the end of the last missed opportunity by the Nerazzurri, now at the last minute of recovery, one word too many or a provocative gesture triggered the spark between Morichelli and Satriano. After a brief face to face, the Giallorossi have trimmed a head to the Uruguayan, who immediately responded in kind. The official press release of the Lega Calcio explains that the three-day disqualification in Satriano derives from the “headline at standstill given to an opposing player”. The same reason with which the Sports Judge disqualified the Giallorossi Morichelli for one more day due to the warning that was dragged on.
