The Napoli team missed the opportunity to be at the top of the Italian football league, after falling into the trap of losing against its host Inter Milan 3/2 today, Sunday, in the thirteenth round of the Italian Football League.
Inter ended Napoli’s unbeaten record in the league this season, which also witnessed Sassuolo’s 2-2 draw with Cagliari, Venezia’s victory over Bologna 1-0 and Sampdoria over Salernitana 2-0.
Inter Milan’s goals were scored by Hakan Calhanoglu in the 25th minute from a penalty kick, Ivan Perisic in the 44th minute, and Lautaro Martinez in the 61st minute, while Napoli’s goals were scored by Piotr Zelensky and Dries Mertens in the 17th and 79th minutes.
Napoli’s balance stopped at 32 points at the top of the standings, with a goal difference against Milan, while Inter Milan raised its score to 28 points in third place, and in the second match, Sassuolo drew with its guest Cagliari 2/2.
Sassuolo’s goals were scored by Gianluca Scamaca in the 37th minute and Domenico Berardi in the 52nd minute from a penalty kick, while Cagliari’s Keita Baldi goals scored in the 40th minute by Joao Pedro Galvão in the 56th minute from a penalty kick.
Sassuolo raised its score to 15 points in twelfth place, and Cagliari raised its score to seven points, in the nineteenth place before the last.
In the third match, Venezia beat Bologna with a clean goal scored by David Okerke in the 61st minute. Venezia raised its score to 15 points in thirteenth place, and Bologna’s balance stopped at 18 points in ninth place.
In the fourth match, Sampdoria defeated Salernitana 2-0. Sampdoria’s goals were scored by Salernitana’s Francesco De Tachio, by an own goal in the 40th minute and Antonio Candreva in the 43rd minute.
Sampdoria raised its score to 12 points in sixteenth place, and Salernitana’s balance stopped at seven points in the last twentieth place.
