Many of the Nerazzurri’s strategies will depend on the Chilean’s fate. Satriano from fifth striker would find little space: Keità, Scamacca and Raspadori the names on the management notebook
Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, the goal pair is not touched. Inzaghi is ready to welcome the Bull, after welcoming Big Rom back with red carpet and smiles. In a feeling that seems to have already been born, thanks also to distance approaches in the summer. The new Inter will start from here: from the 49 goals of the LuLa, Conte’s creature that the new coach will try in every way to preserve and, who knows, to make it even more devastating. Many of the Nerazzurri’s ambitions will pass from the Belgian and the Argentinian, but the club knows that the blanket has to be extended in front: the priority on the market is the post-Hakimi on the right, but in the meantime we continue to work on the substitutes for the super couple in attack.
Many of the strategies will depend on Alexis Sanchez’s future. To date, there are no signs of a possible farewell of Nino Maravilla, but the contractual weight must be considered: the Chilean earns 7 million euros net per season, just under Lukaku (7.5). In times of cost cuts and accounts to balance, this is an important figure, considering that Sanchez is not a holder of this Inter. At least at the start. The contract is expiring in 2023 and there do not seem to be the conditions for a departure, but the position of the former United cannot be defined completely safe.
A possible separation between the parties would force the Nerazzurri club to give Inzaghi two pawns, so as to complete the offensive department. In all this, however, the position of Satriano must be considered: the Uruguayan is impressing during the summer retreat and is conquering Inzaghi. Thus spoke the coach after the victory against Crotone, released by a header from the 2001 class: “He is an interesting guy who works hard every day in training, he is deserving the time I have granted him”. It is clear, however, that the attacking baby cannot remain as the fifth striker: the spaces would be reduced and the boy’s growth could suffer a noticeable slowdown. Inter are at a crossroads: focus on Satriano or sell him on loan?
ON THE MARKET
From this decision all the rest passes, but in the meantime we continue to test the ground in search of other profiles. The names are always the same: Gianluca Scamacca, Keita and, in the rear, Giacomo Raspadori. The game seems to be in the top two, with Sassuolo’s baby striker out of the way. The former Genoa has all the credentials to fill the role of deputy Lukaku; Keita would rush back to Inter, he knows Inzaghi well and would be a precious joker up front. The club is hard at work on the transfer market, but the assessments around Sanchez and Satriano will be the key to understanding the next moves. With one certainty: we start again from LuLa. To keep aiming high.
