Jason Schreierthe well-known gaming journalist who currently works for Bloomberg, wrote a post to warn users against false leakers after the news that Sucker Punch is not making new episodes of inFAMOUS or Sly Cooper.
Schreier’s accusation in this case is explicitly aimed at the profile known as AccountNGTwho reported last March that PlayStation Studios are working on new inFAMOUS and Sly Cooper, and who apparently has deleted your account after the official denial.
Actually the leaker wrote a farewell message (which also includes the link to our news …) in which he explains that the denial relating to the new games of inFAMOUS and Sly Cooper is the reason why he decided to leave the scene.
At the same time, however, he explained that the source of this rumor had seemed reliable and had provided him with other news that he did not report, but which proved to be reliable. He also wanted to remember the beginning of his “career” as a leaker, when he published the first images of Star Wars: Eclipse.
The conclusion of AccountNGT was that it can happen to any leaker to go wrong (after all, under Schreier’s post there are those who pointed out to the journalist how Bloomberg was sure of the release of Nintendo Switch Pro), but he wanted however apologize for the mistakes made.
