After the end of IPL 2020 played in the UAE during the Corona era, Team India is currently on a tour of Australia where the team has to play three ODIs, three T20s and four matches series. The tour will begin with the first match of the ODI series on 27 November which will be played at Sydney Ground. Before the start of the tour, the players of Team India are going through a quarantine period. Chahar, who played for Chennai Super Kings led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in IPL 2020, shared this video on his Instagram. In the video, Chahar is seen playing the tune of Bollywood’s evergreen actor Shah Rukh Khan’s famous song ‘Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanam …’. Along with the video, he wrote in the caption, “The mood before practice”.

Deepak is going to bowl for the first time on Australian pitches after being selected in the team and he is confident during this time. Deepak’s father and coach Lokendra Chahar is confident that Deepak will perform brilliantly on the Australian pitches. Deepak has so far taken 17 wickets in 10 T20 matches for India with an economy of 7.0. Deepak played his last International T20 match against West Indies at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 11 December 2019. Deepak has also played three ODIs for India. In the IPL 2020, which ended in the UAE, Deepak took 12 wickets in 12 matches.
