Pensions 2022 on the rise from 1 January 2022. Starting from January next year, pension adjustments to the cost of living will be triggered. Costs that in the second half of 2021 grew due to the rebound in GDP growth.
Pension institutions – reads www.investireoggi.it – will have to adjust the amounts of the 2022 pensions (and not only) based on the data on the variation of consumer items that Istat will certify shortly. In all, there will be approximately 22.83 million pensions to be increased (equalization) for an estimated expenditure of approximately 4 billion euros.
A leap forward for the revaluation of pensions 2022, which will compensate for two years of freezing of check increases due to zero and negative inflation. But for a country with almost more pensioners than workers, this is a large amount to be taken into account with the 2022 budget law.
But how much more will pensioners actually receive compared to 2021? The revaluation mechanism will not be the same for all pensions, however for those who receive an average pension of 1,500 euros per month it will be – according to estimates based on an increase in inflation of 1.7% – about 300 euros more at the same time. ‘year. About 25 euros gross per month more
But beware, the 2022 pension increases will not be the same for everyone. Equalization is full only for the lowest pensions. As the level of the pension rises, the portion subject to equalization also decreases.
Currently, only those treatments that do not exceed the minimum treatment amount by four times (€ 515.18 per month) are fully re-evaluated. While for higher pensions the revaluation takes place according to the following percentages:
77% between four and five times the minimum;
52% between five and six times the minimum;
47% between six and seven times the minimum;
45% up to € 4,566 (nine times the minimum);
40% for higher value treatments.
To contain spending, however, it is not excluded that the budget law will intervene again on these percentages, lowering them for 2022.
