Ministry of Internal Affairs: In Vladivostok, an unknown person urinated on a monument to the intelligence officer Sorge
In Vladivostok, they are looking for an unknown man who urinated on a monument to the intelligence officer Richard Sorge, reports Ministry of Internal Affairs for Primorsky Krai.
They specified that the police are conducting an investigation into the desecration of the monument. Before that, officers found a video on social networks. The act itself was recorded by CCTV cameras.
“A series of operational and investigative measures are currently being carried out to establish the identity and location of the citizen involved in the incident,” the statement said.
Earlier in Buryatia, a man was accused of desecrating symbols of Russia’s military glory and insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland. According to the department, on the night of September 2, a drunk man in the Victory Memorial Park in Ulan-Ude threw a funeral wreath and flowers located near the memorial complex into the Eternal Flame. CCTV cameras recorded the crime, so the defendant was immediately detained.
