Malyuska: in Ukraine, men will increasingly be required to have military registration documents
Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska said that the country will increasingly require military registration documents to provide public services. His words transmits publication “Strana.ua”.
“I cannot say that we have introduced such a mechanism everywhere. But, in my opinion, it will appear more and more often. Increasingly, in order to provide services to those liable for military service, the state will request a military registration document,” said Malyuska.
According to him, such actions are necessary so that Ukrainians begin to “appear on the state’s radar,” and the government has the legal right to demand this data from men when providing various services.
Previously, Malyuska said that female prisoners could be drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He emphasized that there are no such restrictions in the legislation. The minister also added that there are few female prisoners in Ukraine, as they are less likely to commit crimes.
