This Wednesday morning, through a live link on Morning News, Don Hilario’s neighbors asked for help for the elderly man.
The 82-year-old man, who lives in the Latin American subdivision of Torreón, came to live in an abandoned house, as his old home and his pension were continuously stolen.
“A friend arranged my pension, not from the Government, from work, and I received my little money every month, but they have stolen it from me… I do not seek a lawsuit, I do not like that, I leave it and God is very good ”.
Your new ‘home’ has no furniture, is littered with garbage on the outside, has a water leak, does not even have a door or window to protect it. Sleep on the floor with just a blanket and pillow.
Between tears, Don Hilario said he was happy to receive the support and affection of his neighbors. He assured that all the people who have approached him have given him their good vibes.
“I feel very happy, because people are very good and help me a lot … I live happy because people with me are very good, I am also very soft, and they spend their energies on me,” he commented.
Don Hilario shared that when he got to that house, he immediately came to clean all the garbage that was in the building, and some little girls who live on the block helped him sweep.
He asked for help to rehabilitate the house little by little, because it does not even have the correct functioning of the toilet.
If you like to support Don Hilario, you can go to the address located at Honduras Street, number 1195 in the Latin American subdivision.
