15 puppies were married to commemorate World Animal Day.

To commemorate World Animal Day, a collective wedding was held where 15 puppies were married. Some of them wore tuxedos and a wedding dress, others just kept the appointment.

The reason pet blessings are important to us is for their protection.

The ceremony was carried out with a special blessing for pets to commemorate their day, which coincides with that of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

“Last year they had their babies and today they are here with us. They had their informal wedding in October of last year, so we are celebrating a year of that,” says Ianne De Guia, owner of one of the pets who participated in the wedding.

Near the place, hundreds of animals were blessed in their cars by a priest who threw holy water at them, among them there were dogs, cats, rabbits, even guinea pigs.
