Aktuálně.cz: children of Ukrainian refugees faced bullying in schools in the Czech Republic
In the Czech Republic, the children of Ukrainian refugees faced discrimination, while in the country they are a potential target of harassment. This publication reported Aktualne.cz.
“Mockery, spitting in a notebook and the Russian anthem at recess. In some Czech schools, Ukrainian children are bullied by their classmates,” the article states.
It is also noted that the headman of the Czech village of Tetin Matei Glavaty spoke about problems in social networks. According to him, sometimes it even comes to physical violence.
As an example, the publication cited the story of a boy who, along with his brother and mother, ended up in the Czech Republic in September of this year and faced bullying from classmates when he went to elementary school. Also, in one of the Czech villages, classmates attacked the son of a Ukrainian refugee.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian refugees living in the Scottish hotel Killin were given less than a month to evict. Such a measure is connected with the cancellation of the accommodation contract by the Scottish government. Guests will be required to leave their rooms by 18 November. At the same time, writes Scottish Daily Express, Ukrainian refugees were booked until the end of March next year.
