The Cabinet of Ministers banned the export of turbines and more than 200 types of goods from Russia until the end of the year
The government has determined a list of goods and equipment that are temporarily prohibited from being exported from the country, follows from messagespublished in the Cabinet’s Telegram channel.
The list included, among other things, medical equipment, technological equipment, vehicles and agricultural machinery. In total, the list includes more than 200 items, including monitors, projectors, turbines, metal and stone processing machines, railway cars and locomotives.
At the moment, it is impossible to export goods abroad, the exceptions are the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as Abkhazia and South Ossetia. In the case of the mentioned states, it is assumed that the permission will be given by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
In addition, until the end of the year, the export of certain types of timber to “states that committed unfriendly actions” was also limited. Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to ban the export of timber and products from it to the relevant countries for such a period.
The list of unfriendly states previously included, among others, the United States, Canada and EU countries, as well as the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Switzerland, Norway and Ukraine.
