In Balashikha, a 101-year-old Russian woman, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, was able to defeat the coronavirus. This was reported by Telegram-channel Mash.
Five days before her 101st birthday, the pensioner was admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of COVID-19. The Russian woman developed bilateral pneumonia, her lungs were affected by 20 percent. She celebrated her birthday at the hospital, where she was congratulated by the staff.
After some time, two PCR tests showed negative results. In addition, computed tomography studies did not reveal a single new lesion in the lungs. The woman’s health returned to normal, at the moment she returned home.
Earlier, the infectious disease specialist listed the groups of Russians most susceptible to thrombosis. According to him, people with a genetic predisposition and women taking oral contraceptives are most susceptible to thrombosis.
