The editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow and deputy chairman of the Moscow Public Chamber, Alexei Venediktov, said that a vote will be held in Moscow on the mandatory vaccination of some Russians. The journalist wrote about this in his Telegram-channel.
Venediktov said that the issue of compulsory vaccination for certain groups of Muscovites will be submitted to an electronic vote on July 29-30. “I expect to get about 100 thousand votes,” the journalist noted.
In Moscow, mandatory vaccination of part of the population was introduced on June 16. Then the chief sanitary doctor of the capital, Elena Andreeva, obliged 60 percent of those working in the capital to vaccinate against coronavirus.
