The head of the criminal investigation department of the UMVD of Russia in the Kursk region was fired after an accident and a scandal with traffic police officers, which he arranged while drunk, the press service of the regional department reports.
The accident occurred in Kursk on Friday at about 19:30 Moscow time on Suvorovskaya Street. The driver of Lada Granta lost control and crashed into a Gazelle standing on the roadside, which then collided with a Niva car parked in front. There was no one in the “Gazelle” and “Niva”, no one was injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, the “Lada” was managed by the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kursk region, who was in a state of intoxication by external signs. When the emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, he behaved aggressively. The video posted on the network shows that he insults the traffic police officers.
In connection with the incident, the leadership of the Kursk UMVD of Russia decided to dismiss the employee from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds.
