In Krasnodar, on the Boulevard Ring Street, men robbed a 10-year-old schoolgirl. With a statement about what happened on Wednesday, April 12, the girl’s mother turned to the police.
As the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Krasnodar reported on its sitean unfamiliar man on the street asked the schoolgirl to use her phone and disappeared with him.
“At the school on Boulevard Ring Street, an unknown man approached the child and asked to use her smartphone to clarify the route of his movement to the desired destination, after which he openly stole a mobile phone and disappeared on a bicycle,” the report says.
It is specified that the criminal investigation officers have already identified the attacker and detained him. It turned out to be a previously convicted 34-year-old local resident. During the interrogation, the man confessed to the crime, saying that he had handed over the stolen phone to a pawnshop for 9 thousand rubles, and had already spent the money received on personal needs.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated, Part 1 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Robbery).
Earlier, on April 9, a robber made an armed raid on a mobile communications salon in St. Petersburg. But before he left, he apologized to the cashier and left her some bills “for the inconvenience.” Footage from the scene is at the disposal of Izvestia.
