In another region of Russia – Transbaikalia – large-scale restrictions were introduced due to the high incidence of coronavirus, the governor of the region, Alexander Osipov, signed a corresponding decree. It is reported on Friday, July 9, TASS with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Health.
Any cultural, sports, entertainment, business and entertainment events were suspended in the region until August 6. They are allowed to be carried out remotely.
“Until August 6, the work of discos, dance floors, night clubs, children’s playrooms, leisure facilities is limited. Exceptions are cinemas, theaters, philharmonic societies, houses of culture, libraries, museums, provided that the occupancy rate is up to 50 percent of the uniform capacity, ”the message says.
Cafes and restaurants are prohibited from receiving visitors from 21:00 to 06:00, and the work of spa salons, massage parlors, nail salons, hairdressing salons, tanning salons and beauty salons is also limited. Occupancy should be up to 50 percent of the throughput.
In Transbaikalia, 49 619 cases of infection were recorded for the entire time, 957 patients died.
Earlier, the St. Petersburg authorities extended coronavirus restrictions until August 16. The admission of spectators to sports and public events from July 13, as well as holding any public events of more than 75 people, is prohibited. These restrictions will not apply to theaters, concert halls, circuses and cinemas.
