TR3 Racing doubles its commitment in view of the 24h of Daytona next January.
As announced earlier this month, the US team will field its Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo at the first event of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2022 in the GTD Class with Jeff Segal, Bill Sweedler and John Megrue, assisted by the factory driver, Giacomo Altoè.
To this it will add a second one thanks to the agreement reached with the Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer, which will provide it with support through Lamborghini-Miami to attend the GTD Pro Class with the drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli, plus Rolf Ineichen. .
“The 24 Hours of Daytona has a special meaning for us and after four podiums in a row we have the goal of fighting again for the top positions – said Giorgio Sanna, Lamborghini’s Motorsport Manager – This race will also open a collaboration between us and TR3.
