Second debut in the space of a couple of weeks for the Lamborghini SC63, which after making its first appearance in the FIA World Endurance Championship is now preparing to face its rivals also in the IMSA SportsCar Championship.
The LMDh del Toro, also managed by Iron Lynx, will be on stage in Florida this weekend for the legendary 12h of Sebring.
Driving the hybrid prototype from Sant'Agata Bolognese marked with the #63 will be the three official bearers of Squadra Corse, namely Matteo Cairoli, Andrea Caldarelli and Romain Grosjean, who had the opportunity to lap on the difficult and tortuous American circuit in the latest tests carried out last month.
For the SC63 it will be the very first appearance in the GTP Class, having missed the 24h of Daytona as it was not yet ready, and compared to the World Championship there are some more expectations, both for the information collected in Lusail and for the good results obtained in the tests of December against the other cars in the category, at least on paper.

But we must not distract ourselves from what is the main objective, which is to first of all complete a very tough race in principle by collecting other useful information for the rest of the season.
“We come from a positive debut in the FIA WEC in Qatar and we want to continue the hard work in our first commitment in IMSA. We are very happy to race there, it is a series that has a great history and features many strong and experienced competitors”, underlines Emmanuel Esnault, Director of Track Activities for Lamborghini Iron Lynx.
“Sebring is a particularly treacherous circuit for a multitude of reasons and is an extraordinary testing ground for every technical and human aspect.”
“Our goal is to cover more miles, finish the race and continue to learn as much as we can.”
