AO Racing confirms its commitment to the IMSA SportsCar Championship also for the 2025 season with a dual role.
After this year’s debut in the LMP2 Class, the American team will once again have its Oreca 07-Gibson at the start with the very successful livery of the little dragon ‘Spike’, who will once again join ‘Rexy’, the racing Tyrannosaurus in GTD PRO Class on the Porsche 911 GT3-R 992.
The confirmation came today through the team led by PJ Hyett and Gunnar Jeannette, who first want to complete the current year, and then start organizing the next one by choosing the crews, also considering that Rexy is just a breath away from celebrating the first GTD PRO title.

“It’s a bit surreal to think that the 2024 season is almost over and that we head into Petit Le Mans leading the GTD PRO championship,” said team principal Jeannette.
“The team has grown a lot this year and a great effort has been made by everyone to get to where we are. We can’t wait to put all this work to good use and show up at Daytona in 2025 with two cars capable of winning their category.”

It goes without saying that the liveries created from the idea born by Jeannette’s son are very confirmed (including the pink Tyrannosaurus Roxy, Rexy’s sister), which in these two years have attracted the attention of fans from all over the world, beyond beyond the results achieved in the field.
“Fans have really embraced Spike, Rexy and Roxy this year, which we are extremely grateful for. It’s so much fun to see families and kids excited about the cars and characters. We can’t wait to see more support nationwide in all the races on the IMSA calendar”.
